This guide walks through installing Plex on a Synology NAS using only the built-in Synology tools.

No Docker, no terminal, no complicated networking—just a clean and simple setup.

✅ What You’ll Need

• A Synology NAS running DSM 7.x
• Admin access to DSM
• Media files already on the NAS (or ready to upload)
• A free Plex account

📦 Step 1: Install Plex from Package Center

1. Log into your Synology DSM web interface
2. Open Package Center
3. Search for Plex
4. Click Install
5. Wait for the installation to complete

👉 Once installed, Plex will appear in your main DSM menu.
